As a Geospatial Analysis, your main responsibilities would be:

· To provide a geo-data acquisition, management, analysis and dissemination service for geospatial outputs as required by the Geospatial manager in order to satisfy customer requirements and meeting business objectives.

· Key areas of responsibility include a 3d Geospatial Analyst at C1 level to cover a specialised urgent requirement for geospatial models in regards to BIM data.

· Building 3D models

· Support the delivery of analytical projects – specifically the 3d Asset Management Programme.

· Support the delivery of quality-assured analysis

· Select and apply appropriate analytical techniques

· Develop engaging and informative outputs and visualisations

· Ensuring projects are appropriately documented

· Seek feedback from recipients and peers to drive continuous improvement

· Engage with the DEx project management system ensuring processes are followed

· Proactive use of correct analytical tools to provide business insight

· Support the development and implementation of an advanced Geospatial Analytics capability (20%)

· Seek new ways to support MOD through the use of analysis

· Understand and support the implementation of analytical standards.

· Contribute to continuous improvement.

You’ll have relevant experience in:

· Use of ESRI ArcPro or similar in the creation of 3d Models

· Use of GIS software in general

· A good understanding of process flows through Python or Modelbuilder within the ArcPro environment

· Strong stakeholder management at all levels

· Previous experience as Geospatial Analyst / GIS Developer / Cartographer (not fully overlap of role)

SC clearance is required for this role therefore the successful candidate must be willing to undergo security clearance.
